Another Casualty

Freddie's hot on a trail again.

He's about to find another casualty of our screwy winter.

Yes, it's his purple Walrus. Well it used to be purple anyway.
What Fred doesn't know is that this was no accident.  No it was not forgotten like Rat Bas@#&d.  I left that stupid toy outside because it drove me nuts in the house! Him and his stupid little squeaker that Freddie just couldn't seem to get out. He's managed to rip apart everything else in our house, but not Mr. Walrus!
Not only that,  Mr. Walrus is made of a terribly good rubber and couldn't even have his silly head ripped off!
So...yes, I left him outside to freeze.  Silly me forgetting he is a WALRUS!!

Well, geez!  Look at him.  Now I actually feel sorry for the little guy!

  1. Oh dear, you're not alone in that, BM.

I bought Peanuts a latex squeaker ball and she just loves it when ever it... squeaks.

@Freddie: I think Mr. Walrus is cold, your should bring him inside to keep him warm ^_^.

    Happy Sunday.

  4. So what's the end of the story? Did Mr. Walrus get to come back inside or was Freddie not interested anymore? Mr. Walrus certainly did his time.

  5. Beckett had one of those rubber toys that made the loudest, most annoying sound ever. It was his favorite, from morning to night. I was never so glad when the thing finally gave up the ghost. Sometimes I would hide it from him, just to get some relief from its awful racket. Mr. Walrus probably didn't mind the cold, but his skin looks a little worse for wear, :).

  6. Poor Mr. Walrus. He looks kind of pitiful. Normal winter he would have been out there, buried, much longer. :)

  7. I think you need to try a different approach. Drop Mr. Walrus off at our house :) lol. He does look quite pitiful though :(

  9. He's shivering - I can see it! Did Freddie find him? Is his head still attached? Go, Freddie, go! ('course, Mr Walrus isn't at my house where he would indeed be quickly decapitated or disemboweled by Justus, the squeaker seeker)

  10. Stella loves squeaking her toys repeatedly and then smashing them into our legs to let us know it is time to play... NOW!! I understand Mr. Walrus needing to hang outside for a while. : )

  11. LOL too funny! This always seems to happen to us too-- of course we designate them as "outside toys" until they are too messed up for more playtime!

    Have a fun day!

  12. BOL! Since it managed to survive does it get to come back in the house? Maybe you should have left it in a desert I dont think they can survive the heat.

  13. Do they have a Society for the Protection of Dog Toys? If so, we need to give 'em a call.
