Last week I received an e-mail asking if I would like to do an interview for Coffee With A Canine. I jumped at the chance as I love that blog. It's a great place to go and read about different people in all walks of life and their canine companions. It has a category for each breed and is easy to navigate around the sight. You can check out my interview at this link Coffee With A Canine.
The first day of 2012 brought us warm temperatures and with it pouring rain. Which also means lots of muddy paw prints. Yuk! We donned our umbrellas and took the hounds for a short walk. Fred waited for the rain to stop so he could go outside and play. Day turned to night and still he waited........
........and waited
Overnight brought a drastic change in temperatures and with it the snow!
So the second day of 2012 brought us snow squalls and wonderful playtime in the snow!
Fred and Gloria had a hoot playing in the backyard.
The best part.........
Freddie was absolutely wore out the rest of the day!!!!!!
We are getting the cold temperatures now, but alas no snow yet. Just love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou are describing our weather the last few days in northern Indiana. To top it all off, my car died completely on New Year's Eve. So we're kicking off the New Year car shopping...yuck! At least Fred and Gloria look like they're having a great time!
ReplyDeletePoor Fred...at least he got snow in the end! We had a light dusting of that nasty white stuff last night and that is enough for me! HA! I am off to check out your interview! How exciting!

Hey Fred I don't like ain either, yuck. If I have to go outside I make MOM hold an umbrella over me. hehehe. But I love snow I hope we get some soon.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
It is wonderful what a day in the snow will do to tire them out. Followed you here from Miley's Daily Scoop.
ReplyDeleteDunno what dogs see in the snow. It's wet. You named your dog after my Pop! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWe are really low on snow this year! Isn't it fun to play in!
ReplyDeleteOh poor Fred! Bella won't go out in the rain unless she absolutely. has. to. either. That pic of him with his chin on the ottoman is too precious!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you re: the best part of snow being - a tuckered pup! We haven't had any here yet (although the temps are finally dropping enough so....)
Fun times! And great interview too!
ReplyDeleteFreddie is absolutely adorable! Love the photos, looks like he had a great time with Gloria!
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed reading the interview as well :)
-Deanna, Harley, Scarlett, Chelsea and Roory
Looks like you two had a blast!!
ReplyDeleteThe best part about snow, tired dogs!! :)
Enjoy!
What fun!
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
Snow is SO much more fun than rain. I adore that last photo of Fred, looking dazed and so sleepy. What fun!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteYou got the snow and not the wind? What? Did the 45mph winds just stay here on the mountain? No fair!
Y'all come back now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
we read your interview and LOVED learning more about you! Dakota and I were featured back in their early days (under Shetland Sheepdogs) when they didn't have a way for people to leave a comment.
ReplyDeleteFred and Gloria look like they are having a BLAST in the snow!
Freddie Spaghetti's waiting pictures looked heartbreaking. Poor darling.
ReplyDeleteThen there was snow... snow... he's like a... ummm oversized greyhound speeding.
Huggies and Cheese,
Haopee
