June has to be one of my favorite months of the year. It holds the promise of summer and all that comes with it. Warm mornings on the patio with a cup of coffee and warm nights on the patio with a glass of wine or cold beer. It represents relaxation. It's when all the summer flowers start to come to life and show their true colors.

My favorite plant this one I got two years ago that I have been faithfully feeding and watering waiting for it to bloom.

I don't about blooming , but it certainly did grow!
Thankfully this one won't be multiplying!
Oh yeah. My new little fence is working awesome. Freddie found a hole by my one big hosta. The problem is he can't get back out once he's in!
Your garden looks beautiful, what a fantastic array of plants. Love the Basset Plant, a rare and tenacious variety! Get out of there Fred, before you trample everything, LOL.

You obviously aren't talking about June in England; it is wet & freezing here! Good to see all the hard work with the fence has gone well hehe! Deccy x
ReplyDeleteBOL!!! Sorry, we shouldn't laugh at your basset-proof fence!

Beautiful photographs.... Love all those flowers.

pawhugs, Max
Beautiful plants. I'm jealous of your clematis, as I can't grow any, they don't love me.
ReplyDeleteThe rampant basset plant is handsome too, maybe not too smart but handsome :-)
Si I guess, hostas are less vulnerable to bassets than to snails?
Your garden is so beautiful, the flowers are gorgeous. Your hibiscus is bright and cheerful; hibiscus is our national flower and most of my neighbours have them but not me. I'm really good at gardening!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your fence, it's just not Freddie-proof!
Beautiful Flowers!!!
ReplyDeleteUhOh...Da NO FREDDIE ZONE isn't workin too well fur ya!
I've always loved your gardens!! They're so gorgeous and you have the magic touch with plants. I really like that last plant...must be a Fur Daisy! LOL. It doesn't surprise me at all that Freddie got through that fence :S lol
ReplyDeleteHaha Freddie,
ReplyDeleteYou weren't foiled by that fence hey buddy?!
I love your garden, it's SO pretty!! I can see you're doing a very good job at being chief gardener Dude!! :)

What a lovely garden. Hibiscus and clematis are two of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful garden! Silly Freddie. Wouldn't you know that he would "sniff" out a hole.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so lovely! Hahaha, leave it to Fred to find a little hole to get through! You can't get anything past him, huh?
ReplyDeleteMy mom was ooo'ing and ahh'ing over the pretty flowers and I was BOL at Freddie getting stuck!!! Too funny!

ReplyDeleteOh, Fred. It's a process.
Oh Freddie ~ Well it looks like he is stepping ever so lightly around the plants. They are beautiful and we like the way it looks sectioned off.

What a great backyard, you must really enjoy that.

Absolutely love your garden. Enjoy a relaxing summer :-). Freddie's adorable
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you water him, will he bloom pretty flowers?? BOL! I love all your flowers and your seating area!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Your garden looks so neat and tidy. Sigh! Is your hibiscus in a container outdoors? I keep mine inside year round because winters are too wet and cold and it never seems to do well the times I've tried putting it outside in the summer. It's yet another plant that I have to keep trimming back!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so pretty and Freddy makes a great garden ornament!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteBOL! Freddie! I thought you were a plant in there for a minute!
What a beautiful place to sit and relax. My Human has saucer hibiscus at the shore. She loves clematis and where they lived before she had it trailing up a trellis on the wrap around porch and on fences. It's hard to plant anything much here 'cause of the rock ground on this mountain.
How y'all doin'? Just stoppin' by to see how y'all are. Hope y'all are enjoying a fantastic weekend.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Such a beautiful garden!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colors! Your flowers are awesome!

Vof Freddie, don't you mind, that happens to me, too! I know to go on the other side of the fence but then I'm behind the closed gate ... why it's closed?
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so beautiful! x Nero
Love the photos! So glad you included your chives picture, as I had planted some of them several years ago and forgot what they were. Now I know I can eat 'em!! BabyRD and Hootie send love and kisses...using my blog today. ;<)
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so beautiful! I love it! Hope you had a wonderful weekend
ReplyDeleteParadise!!! Your garden is beautiful!!! I 'm sure Freddie is smart enough to figure out how to get out!!
ReplyDelete♥hugs to you♥
