A Tubs Eye View

Trying to have a nice relaxing soak in the tub with Fred around is....well...almost impossible.  I try to shut him out but he whines (surprise, surprise) and then goes into panic mode and scratches the heck out of the bathroom door.  So I have  learned to leave the door open.  I know, I know he's spoiled!

So when I'm in the tub this is my view.

"But why, Momma?" "Why can't I come in too!"

When I don't pay attention to this view, I get the next view.

Revenge on my slippers.
The next view....

.............is the view of the side of the tub when I get out.   The marks left behind by the first view.

My next view is to give me the relaxation my first view didn't.

I know it was only Thursday night but today is a holiday so last night was our "Friday" date night.  The beauty of having date night after you've been together so long is you can have it in your pajamas!!   Have a great Good Friday and a Happy Easter!!

And when I have my glass of something, they fight to get on my lap :-)

  9. Teehee, Freddie I do the same thing to my mom!! Don't let the moms fool you though, if we were not whining at the bathroom door or right there in their sight, they would be paniced! HA!

  11. Oh, heck no....That would not be us....We head the other direction when we hear the bath water running. You are so brave Fred, you must know that she will definately not let you enjoy her bubble bath. BOL Have a great weekend. Sniffs, The HoundDogs

  12. I hang out with MOM too in the bathroom. I mean who is she going to talk to all alone in there. The only time the bathroom door gets closed if there is a guest over.I think Fred is just being a good lifeguard. If you slip under he's there to save you.

  13. Hey Fred!
Wow, great job of tub-viewing! I like doing that too. For a little extra excitement, try sneaking in with a toy and dropping it in with your peep. Trust me, the entertainment is priceless! BWAR HAR HAR

  14. Nothing like being stared down in the tub; but, if it's going to happen, that's a pretty cute face.

  19. Haha - but Freddie wants date night with his mamma too - he would miss you if he couldn't be by your side at all times!! And playing with your slippers is just his way of being close to you - Tee Hee

I'm the same with my Mum - I lie outside the shower and wait for her - when it's Dad's turn I let him have the bathroom to himself :)

Hey Freddie - just wondering, does your Mum always have the camera in the bath? :)

Hope you had a lovely date night :)

  23. I thought when the kids got older I would get alone time in the bathroom. Nope, my dogs panick too when I'm behind closed doors, even though there are other people they can pester in the house.

And I agree, date night is quite nice in your pj's!

  25. HEY.. Sarge REALLY REALLY DOES do THAT to his peeps!!! Fur REAL he does. You should use one of her Slippers.

Ernie and I like to lay on the bed and Nap while mom is in her Sprinkler Box thingy...

Any EVENING when the peeps are in their PJ's and Sweats.. is grrrrrreat. So nice to cuddle up to them when they wear those thingys.
