Friday The 13th - More Luck?

Well we've been pretty lucky lately, so I don't know what Friday the 13th could possibly bring for us other than good luck!  First off we won a painted 5"x7" pet portrait from Bunk The Pug's Easter Egg Hunt Contest. He just had his 1st Birthday too, so you might want to pop over and wish him a Happy Birthday!  The portrait will be done courtesy of Harlequin Studio. We are having a picture of Gloria done since we already had a picture of Fred done by Bailey Be Good's Momma.

Next we won a copy of Nurturing Paws by Whispering Angel Books   from Roxy The Traveling Dog.  I can't wait to read this book of short stories and poems.

The next thing that happened was we came in third in a caption contest that Magic held. Yes, Magic from Life in the Doghouse, mother of four new adorable Schnauzer puppies!  Well, yesterday Fred and Gloria's package came from across the big pond!!


We were feeling pretty special because it came "Royal Mail" from the UK.


They received this wonderful hound stuffie (Freddie thinks it looks like him, teehee!)


Along with a piece of bling for each of them to where on their collars! It even says Crufts on it.  That's the UK's Dog Show.  It's the world's largest Dog Show!


Magic and her Momma even sent a nice card with it. Thank you so much!


Fred and Gloria both loved the stuffie. Fred's always gotta go for the butt!


Gloria shocked me because she usually doesn't play with any toys, but she loves this one.


Fred soon took over and kept it with him on the couch until........


....he finally fell asleep!  Awwwe!!

And just so everyone knows it has been super cold here again...brrrr!!


Thank goodness we still have this thermometer to tell us it's cold again!

P.S. - It's our good friend Snoopy's 2nd birthday so don't forget to and wish him a Happy Birthday!

    What great things they sent for Freddie and Gloria!! I just LOVE the "Bling" hehe. It amazes me that Gloria actually likes a toy! Can't wait to see her picture when it's done :)

    All say lucky. 13 is MOM's favorite number so she does not hold any stock in this whole bad luck thing. Nice prizes. I am glad it's not tha tcold here. Just a lot of rain and cool.

    That hound toy is super cute - don't you know for Dogs it's normal to start the sniffing with the butt when we meet a new Doggie? Tee Hee - You made Mum feel a little homesick for the UK when she saw the packaging :)

    Hey, we must have got your bad luck....HER Kindle bit the dust, the computer is having major problems, BUT we figure if that's all the bad luck we get we're still lucky.
