This was Fred on Monday February 6th basking in the sun.
It was so warm he didn't even want to
By Friday night we had a snow storm.
Look closely at that tree and you can see the garbage bag. heehee!
Monday February the 13th the hounds were romping in the snow again!!
I wish it would just pick a temperature and stay there. Either stay cold or stay warm, instead of mud, snow, mud, snow!
Crazy I tell ya....just crazy!
Sounds like here actually - and we thought only the UK had crazy weather :-) Love Gloria's smile - woofs and licks from Magic xx
ReplyDeleteWe agree 100%. It has been the same here all winter. I hate to see what the summer is going to bring. Sniffs, The HoundDogs
ReplyDeleteYikes you out to send those pics to climate change.org. I blame all this weird weather on global warming. Looks like Fred and Gloria aren't letting it bother them though
ReplyDeleteUrban Hounds
Yes, our little bit of snow we has is once again melted and we also have mud. temps are suppose to be mild for next week too. Lots of wiping muddy dog feet!
ReplyDeletePlaying in snow sure looks like a lot of fun, you lucky dogs!!!
ReplyDeleteLovies, Miss Mindy
Oh I so agree. I wish it would pick a temp and stick for a bit. I just have no idea how to dress for work this year. Our dogs don't seem to mind the weather changes though, (but their coats are not what they should be with all of the fluctuating temps).
ReplyDeleteI just love the picture of Fred chillin' in the yard. Side dog Gloria is cute too. :)
Hey, with so much snow - you could have a party. Love the photo's and the fun of being in the snow.
ReplyDeleteOver here in England, only a dusting of snow, but who knows what can happen, such is the unpredictable weather scene.
Love the blog.
What a weird fluctuation of weather, hope it makes its mind up soon!

Looks like Fred and Gloria know how to adjust. LKove Gloria's face with Fred coming up from behind.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Last year we had storm after storm each time dumping more and more snow. Sometimes up to 15 inches at a time. This year No snow. I probably just jinx us, but I have to say I like not having oldman winter around.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you posted the picture of Fred sunning himself. It's the first sketch of Fred I've worked on that's actually going well! Yay!!! He's my computer desktop now as I strive to get that Fred-Look just right.
ReplyDeleteOh sunbathing looks so nice. I bet Fred got a nice tan.
ReplyDeleteThat's what climate change'll do for ya! I suspect we're in for a wild ride. Good thing dogs are so adaptable :)
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather here too in the southern US. I noticed trees growing new leaves - and they never even lost all the old ones!! Gotta say that Fred looks cozy basking in the sun. :)
ReplyDeleteThe weather here is nutty too. Hot one day and freezing the next
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
I chuckled over Fred's first photo - head up to the sun saying "bring it on!" Weird weather indeed.
ReplyDeleteWOW! That is crazy weather!!!
ReplyDeleteHey, BM. While you're at it,maybe we should put it to a vote. Of coure, I'm the type who'd rather have cool or cold weather anytime.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Gloria is enjoying the weather too much.
Huggies and Cheese,
Haopee
At least it isn't BORING. hehehe
ReplyDeleteThe temperatures here have been unseasonably warm this winter. Most days required a heavy sweater and not a coat. We left our plants outside all winter long! I sure hope we can handle the hot days of summer. Cute photo Fred!
ReplyDeleteNina, Myshka, Sasha, Betsy, Lucy, Phoebe and Lily
We've been having the same kind of crazy weather over here, too! It's not very fun.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures though! :]
We had over 81 inches of snow last year up here. I think we've had a whopping 10 inches this year (and that includes the crazy Sno-tober blizzard!)
ReplyDeleteStrange stuff.
Awesome pictures. :)
It looks like you guys are having fun running in that snow!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
What crazy weather! I agree it makes it easier to figure out how to bundle up or to not bundle up. I loved the sunbathing photos but then again the romping in the snow was delightful to look at. I am as bad as the weather!
ReplyDeleteThat kind of weather is what I'm used to in Texas. The day could start out very warm and sunny and then comes rain, wind, and cold. I love Fred's ears and Gloria's face in the last photo.
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been incredibly bizarre. Makes me a bit nervous...

Critter Alley
I think it sounds fun! It's in the high 80s here with 100% humidity
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
We are SNOW jealous!
ReplyDeleteWe've nothing but mud puddles to play in!
Licks and sniffs,
Zack, Sassy and Buddy
That sun looks great. We had a week of spring-like weather too but now we are back to cold. Brrr. Don't tease me :)
ReplyDeleteWe wanted some of that snow too...but it was not meant to be for us. So, we await spring with open paws!

ReplyDeletei think north america has been having this crazy weather. its been so cold and windy this whole week, when just a couple weeks ago i could sit outside in the warm sun and watch the pups play. i want the warm weather back! although, i think i will be saying the opposite come summer, being that i live in the desert, lol.
ReplyDeleteI wish we'd get a little bit of snow for me to play in. Fred and Gloria look like they're having so much fun. They even got some snow in Tucson, but here where we're much higher we only got a few flakes.
ReplyDeleteOh Dog! You got snow? I am SO jealous!
ReplyDeleteWow that is crazy weather, indeed!
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather everywhere!
