In honor of my late basset hound, Barney a.k.a. Barn, Barn; I have decided to start a blog. Not only will it help me deal with the loss of one of my best friends, it will also serve as a life long diary for Fred. Fred is the new basset hound puppy I will be bringing home in late June. I know Fred cannot replace Barney, but he will help fill this hole in my heart.
Great blog, I think this is perfect. How lucky of Barney to have parents who took such good care of him, loved him and spoiled him to pieces. (and better yet, a sister who wasn't embarassed to call him her "brother"...despite the hair:)
