Yesterday the hounds enjoyed lots of time outside soaking up the rays. However we all know Freddie Spaghetti can't sit still for too long and he finally goes on the attack and tries to entice Gobble Guts Gloria to play!
"Come on Gloria! I'll even keep my eyes closed!"
"Look, I can fit your whole head in my mouth!" "hehe!"
"You'll never find me down here!"
"Body slam!"
"And finally my vampire move!"
Yes, everyone was enjoying the sun yesterday including one of the city workers who was whoopin' it up in the park in front of our house by opening up the fire hydrant.
Meanwhile, we had to pay for the water to water our lawn last night! I felt like running over there with buckets!
It breaks my heart when I see water wasted like this...
ReplyDeleteIn the third picture, they look as if they were singing :-)
Its starting to get nicer here now for playing outside too...have a fun summer!
ReplyDeleteLove all these action shots. I think Bella would love to come play with Freddie she loves to play bitie face and see who she can roll. Have a great day. Sniffs, The HoundDogs

ReplyDeleteToo bad the "kids" couldn't go play in the water, free bath! BOL!
ReplyDeleteLovies, Miss Mindy
It looks like Wrestle Mania, Basset style! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see them playing everyday!
ReplyDeleteGloria is going to play whether she wants to or not. Freddie is persistent. It's supposed to be really hot here this weekend (3-day weekend for us), so I'm staying indoors as much as possible.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the hounds had fun!! I would have not only grabbed buckets of water, but would have ran through those nice, cool sprays myself to beat the heat! lol
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine you trying to catch that water in a bucket!! I like to drink out of the hose after my run, but I may struggle with that hydrant!! :)
ReplyDeleteFreddie did a great job getting Gloria to play - I try the same with Cosmo but after a while he just barks at me and won't play!! Doh!! At least I have some other Doggie friends who like to do the rough play thing :)
Have fun,
Your pal Snoopy :)
that last photo was hilarious!! Stay cool this weekend, gonna be a hot one!
ReplyDeleteFreddie Spaghetti, your eyes were covered....very impressive!!! BOL!!

ReplyDeleteDropping by on the blog hop today to celebrate Memorial Day by honoring the long history of the military using dogs in conflicts. It's an oldie, but a goodie. Thank a veteran (and their military dogs) today! (To see the video: www.Pet-Peeves.org)
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific weekend with your furry kids!
I like the first pic where the dog's ear is so long it wraps around his face!
ReplyDeleteIf that's what that guy looks like when he's whooping it up, I'd sure hate to see him when he's somber.
