The hound slug fest continued well into Monday morning.
Until the mail came and it was for them. That got them off their lazy basset butts!
We got an e-mail from Carrie over at All Things Dog Blog last week saying we won an "Unbreakoball". I was so excited as I thought this would be perfect for Fred. Maybe, just maybe we would have a ball that he couldn't destroy!
Fred liked it right away and took it to show Gloria.
"Okay, that's enough Gloria! You saw it now back off!"
Then he took it outside and ran around the yard with it.
He even brought it back to me when I threw it! I felt so proud of him and I thought "this must be how Storm, Thunder and Freighters Momma must feel over at 2 Brown Dawgs or Hawks Momma over at Brown Dog CBR." Then Fred just growled at me as he ran past with the ball! Oh well, maybe one day.
Then he brought it back in the house with him.......
.....and
So the "Unbreakoball" has survived day one with Fred! Thanks again to Carrie over at All Things Dog Blog. So far so good!
Woof! Woof! Golden CONGRATS on your another prize winning. ENJOY! Lots of Golden ALOHA n Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteLucky boy Fred! You look very happy with that prize!

ReplyDeletegreat ball Fred, don't let ANYONE neat it!! Deccy x
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool toy, my friend! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool ball. Lucky Fred, (and Gloria)! I smiled at Fred's retrieving, but you only need to include Thunder, Storm and Hawk in the group of dawgs that bring the ball back. Freighter must have taken lessons from Fred...lol...he runs right past us these days!
ReplyDeleteLOL-Fest. I can totally relate. Peanuts used to love balls. But I believe she's outgrown those "petty" mental stimulation medium. ^_^
ReplyDeleteI love the ball. It has bitey holes for teeth to sink in.
Huggies and Cheese,
Haopee
The ball looks good! I will be interested in seeing if it is really unbreakable!Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteGreat toy, we have many unbreakable toys here, not many stuffed ones.....
ReplyDeleteI love the phrase 'hound slug fest'! I am excited to see a toy that's lasted... look forward to updates!
ReplyDeleteFred you are one lucky hound. That ball does look like a ton of fun.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Well Fred, nothing like sleeping next to your toy to make it last :-)
ReplyDeleteFred you found your toy.
ReplyDeleteFred, could you send a little luck my way? That is an awesome ball! Mine are addicted to tennis balls, but they take them out on the deck and they fall over the side through the slats and don't get them back until someone goes to retrieve them. This looks like a ball that wouldn't fall through!
ReplyDeleteYAY!! That looks like a great ball! If Fred didnt' destroy it it seems it might stand up to Dakota's mighty jaws too! lol.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like with the tiny holes around it that you could maybe put treats in it as well?
What a cool ball....love the shot with Fred and the silver tea set, that dog has class!! enjoy the new ball.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great ball...
ReplyDeleteDoes he sleep with it too.... Very colorful.
pawhugs, Max
