"But what about me Momma?"
"Sorry Freddie, maybe next time."
Anyhow, back in April on Friday the 13th, I had said how lucky we were. Bunk The Pug had an Easter Egg Hunt Contest and we won a pet portrait courtesy of Harlequin Studio and Meghan Netzel. You can read my blog post here. We decided to get the 5x7" oil on canvas portrait done of Gloria since we already had the portrait of Fred done by Bailey Be Good's Momma, JM. Which you can see here.
We've been so excited waiting for it to come and Gloria's nerves were starting to get to her.
"Momma, Gloria's balling again." "Tell her to stop 'cause I'm trying to sleep!"
Then there was a knock at the door and a parcel was left. Gloria started to perk up.
"Is that it Momma?"
Oh, but it was a big deal, 'cause this one was all about Gloria. So without further ado I present the unveiling of Miss Gloria!
Meghan did an awesome job! She even sent a little note congratulating us again! We think it is absolutely beautiful! So now Gloria has her own portrait too! Gloria was just ecstatic!
No, really she was! And Freddie, well.........
"I don't want a picture of Gloria!"
"Good Fred, 'cause YOU didn't get a picture of Gloria!"
So now our little Gloria's portrait has it's place beside Fred's.
Thanks again to Bunk The Pug for holding such a fun Easter Egg Hunt and to Meghan over at Harlequin Studio, we can't thank you enough for doing such a fantastic painting of Gloria. If you haven't been over to Harlequin Studio yet you need to check it out! Meghan is very talented and does all kinds of great paintings at reasonable prices. Not just pets either!
