It's been a very long week with poor Freddie. We've been up at night with him, his pills have had him peeing in the house (something he has never done) his ears have been constantly twitching and he's been very lethargic and whiny. We cut his pills back to half two days ago and we finally got some sleep last night and he didn't pee in the house. Yay! Sorry I haven't been around, but we're slowly getting Freddie back to his old self. I will try to get around and visit everyone's blogs today. Today my camera goes to the shop. I went to take a picture of Freddie last night and my flash just started making zapping noises, then just quit! :(
Okay, maybe not so "Wordless Wednesday"!

Poor Freddie...is he on Prednisone? That's what we were giving Stetson and it was making him pee a lot too. He didn't have any accidents this time, but the last time he was on those meds he had an accident in my brothers house. I hope Freddie feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteFred mate! I haven't been around so didn't know about your nasty itchy twitchiness. I really hope they can sort it for you soon fella. Mum had to put socks on me to stop me scratching, so be warned! Keep the paws away from the ears.... Deccy x

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about poor Freddie - do hope he's feeling better soon. Schnauzer hugs and affen licks from us here - Magic xx
ReplyDeletePoor Freddie! But I'm glad he's getting back to normal. It's interesting that you said his meds had him peeing all over the house, because that's what happened to Daisy with her kennel cough meds. It was mostly from the shot, but early on, the pills did it too. Sometimes the cure is as nasty as the illness!
ReplyDeleteHoping Freddie is back to himself soon!! Could the pills have caused a urinary infection? Dakota just got over one a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteI had mentioned that Cody is on Prednisone for his terrible allergies too. We just cut him to half a pill today as well.
Wish all of these babies didn't have to have allergies.
Enjoy the Lions game tonight!
Poor Fred! I hope the cut in meds helps give him a little more relief!
ReplyDeletePoor baby! What a beautiful boy, though. Glad there's no more peeing in the house!
ReplyDeleteoooh...poor Freddie. get well soon my friend, I know how heartbroken your mommy feel every time she sees you doing something not well.

ReplyDeleteOh dear! Freddie! You paw thing. I hope you feel better soon and let your humans have a little bit of sleep. Maybe just laying on her feet will make you feel nice. *licky face*
