Merry Christmas!

Finally it's Christmas!

And yes, Fred and Gloria won hands down on the Christmas cards!  We want to thank everyone for their cards and a special thank you to our mail lady Liz for delivering them all.  They received 63 cards and 12 ecards. (I still have about 10 to hang up) We received 16.

Christmas Ornament #25

This Santa ornament we bought when our kids were little.  We told them Santa was always watching them.  After all, it never hurt to have that extra leverage at Christmas. hehehe!

 Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Monday Mischief - Waiting For The Big Guy

"Freddie here.  Just chillin' waiting for the big guy. Bring on the pressies! I'm a little bummed out that our parcel did not arrive for Wally and Sammy over in South Africa in time for Christmas, but I guess when it does arrive they will still have pressies to open after Christmas.  I however will still be ripping and tearing mine tomorrow!"

"I've been whining a lot as my legs have been pretty sore in this cold damp weather we've been having and Gloria has been sticking to me like a tongue to a frozen flagpole."

"She thinks she has to watch over me just because she's older and quite frankly it's getting on my nerves.  A dude needs his space!"

"I'm going to sign off by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas filled with lots of Ho, Ho, Ho!"

Guess Who?

Look who came to town and stopped at our house!

Freddie was just in awe while Gloria was a little reserved. Next stop for Santa was to see the Grandbabies.

Below is Emma with Santa last Christmas.

Is this not your typical "kid with Santa" shot or what! LOL!

Next is a picture of Emma with Santa Thursday night.

Amazing the difference a year can make!

I even got in on the action and look what he brought for us.

Snow! Yay!!!

Christmas Ornament #22

This cute Santa we bought about 12 years ago because............well, he's SANTA!

Now that Christmas is almost here, try to go and relax for a bit and help yourself to one of my goodies.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Christmas Ornament #21

This is the only Christmas ornament I have left that was my Grandmother's. The rest have all gotten broken over the years.  I used to love seeing her tree when I was little as it was one of those fake silver ones and I just thought it was so beautiful! Like fancy smancy beautiful!

Mischief Master Class - It's Here!

Fred and Gloria were so excited when the mail came yesterday.......

'Cause the Mischief Master Class book we ordered finally arrived!

Freddie sniffed around to see if he could smell his pal Snoopy, after all if it wasn't for Snoopy and the help of his Momma, there would be no Mischief Master Class Book.

The hounds waited patiently for me to sit and read to them.  I think I heard Freddie telling Gloria that even she could learn how to get into mischief following Snoopy's rules.  when I finally got the chance to read to them Freddie was feeling pretty proud to show Gloria rule #1 'cause there he is! Right there in Snoopy's book!

Getting up to some mischief and using his puppy dog eyes to get out of trouble! You can read about lots of our friends and how they have gotten up to and gotten out of mischief all thanks to Snoopy and the mischief rules he has created.   You can check out Snoopy and his book here.

Christmas Ornament #20

My "Grandma" ornament I got after my first grandchild was born.  I guess you know your getting older when........hehehe!

In memory of my Dad who passed away four years ago today.

Yes, we still put your stocking out.  Merry Christmas Dad!

P&G eStore Savings

First off I'm going to do a little bragging about some P&G products and the convenience of their eStore.  What is the P&G eStore? It's an eStore that has been created with shoppers for shoppers to be a premier online retail site with new and better ways to shop online. Another great way to save us some time and let's face it, we all use some form of P&G products.  Actually you'll probably be surprised at just how many products they make.

Their list of quality products seems endless from Pampers diapers, Crest and Oral B dental care and Braun & Gillette razors to Olay face care, Cover Girl make-up, cleaning products, laundry products like Tide and Downy and Duracell batteries.  The list goes on with hair care, body care, pet food and much, much more.  The great thing now is that you can find it all at the P&G eStore!  I personally use many P&G products like Bounty paper towels (the best!), Charmin toilet paper and Mr. Clean Eraser (can't live without that one!). I have used Tide laundry detergent for over 30 years and love the new Tide Pods, and am now also hooked on the new Downy Unstopable Scent Boosters to add to your wash load. I loooove the way it makes our clothes smell! I also only use Cascade dishwasher detergent and have ever since I have owned a dishwasher.

I have bought the Oral-B rechargeable toothbrush not just for me but as Christmas gifts for family members and we all love it.  We like the way it makes your teeth feel like you've just been to the dentist every time you brush with it and right now they have a Mail-In Oral-B Rebate until Dec. 31/12 and an instant $15 rebate on oral care of a $15 until Jan. 5/13. They also have special offers, eCoupons and Mail-In Rebates on right now for Cover Girl products. I use a few different mascaras and one of my favorites right now is Cover Girls Lash Blast.  It really helps to open up your eyes and make them pop.  Lipstick, well, my daughter laughs at how much lipstick I have in my bathroom cupboard.  I guess I just feel naked without it and an all time favorite of mine is Outlast Lipcolor.  When they say it lasts up to 16 hours, they're not kidding!  I love this lipstick as I don't have to keep reapplying it all day even after drinking my coffee.

I could be here all day talking about the P&G products I use and how terrific they are but let's get to their eStore.  Now it is so convenient to order all of these products from their on-line store.  To top it all off they really make it worth your while with Free Shipping with a $25.00 purchase, 15% off of your entire first order with promo code A9Z-MN5-KY3-ISA and free samples with every purchase!  There's also special offers, eCoupons and Mail-In Rebates. Easy, convenient and a time saver.  What better time to be shopping online at the P&G eStore than the holidays when life is just so busy.

So grab a cup of tea, put your feet up and check out P&G's eStore.  You  don't have to leave the house.  You can even order it from work and  just have it delivered right to your  front door. Don't forget to order lots of Duracell Batteries for Christmas.

They have some special offers and sweepstakes on right now for Duracell too!  Just another way to make your life a little easier.  Thanks P&G!

Monday Mischief and Christmas Ornament #17

I had a busy weekend doing Christmas baking and cursing at the internet. I had to stop long enough to fit in some play time for the hounds as I've been limiting Freddie's romping to just once on the weekends.

"Are ya done yet?"

"Maybe someday Momma will stop long enough to take us outside Gloria. Until then we can dream. sigh"

They finally made me feel guilty enough to stop what I was doing and take them out for their walk and some backyard play afterwards.

Not the most graceful looking. hehehehe

They had about 15 minutes of glory and then........

Yes! Peace and quiet for awhile!  But by supper time Fred was looking for trouble again,

and gathered quite a little stash under the coffee table. I guess it's just his way of letting me know that I should be focusing on him and not Christmas goodies!

But I did get a lot done.  Just look at these.

Cherry Chocolate Kisses (I got this recipe off of Pinterest and they turned out great!)

And salted caramels. (another great Pinterest find)  This is my first time making caramels and they turned out awesome!  These two new additions are going to look great on my Christmas goodie trays!

I know this has been a long post but finally on to the Christmas Ornament #17.

This is the ornament that my 5 year old grandson Cameron made me this year.

Christmas Ornament #16

This is another ornament my daughter made when she was little.  She was so proud of herself that she had taken some things she had and created such a beautiful ornament that she made us display it right on the front  of our tree that year.  We call it the Christmas blank.  Since I am not going to repeat what we actually call it you can use your imagination!  It now hangs at the back of our tree every year and has been a standing joke in our family for years.  If people come over and don't see it on our tree they always ask, "Where's the Christmas blank?".

Now I thought I'd share a picture of Freddie to show just how excited he is waiting for Santa Paws.

He's having such a hard time containing his emotions! hehehe

Christmas Ornament #15

Yesterday I screwed up and had the ornament at #13 instead of #14. I blame it on menopause as I do everything. I tried correcting it but had no internet AGAIN until last night. grrr!! It is now corrected.  If I have seemed sporadic in commenting it is because my internet connection has been sporadic which in turn is causing me to break out in excessive hot flashes from stress.  Last night when I was about to spend another long intimate night on the phone with Bell Canada, my connection suddenly came on so I just hung up the phone and went with it!  Sometimes I just can't bear to be on the phone with these companies.  Anywho..........I present Christmas Ornament #15!

This Christmas Santa ornament has a  paper mache, modge podge kind of body.  I just love him.  We got this ornament at the Mary Maxim store in Paris , Ontario while shopping with my parents earlier in the year before my Mom passed away.  We went there with my Mom as she had a gift certificate to use that we had given her the previous Christmas.  She bought a beautiful rose afghan kit.  She started the afghan before she passed away and I still have it but sadly not the talent to finish it.

This Moment See Beautiful - Through The Eyes of Babes

 Grandbabes that is!

It's not hard to see beautiful everyday when you have four beautiful grandbabies!

Emma and Cameron

Mitch

Jaron

And even drool can be beautiful,

If it's on someone you love!

Christmas Ornament #14

Besides knitting, crocheting and sewing my Mother used to do work with plastic canvas and among the things she made me were two bells for our Christmas tree.

This is one of those bells.

We want to thank Sugar for not only hosting this "This Moment See Beautiful" blog hop but for also donating  $1 (up to $100!) to St. Anne's Center, The Lantern House : Pet Area for everyone who joins the hop!  This is very special to Goose and his Momma, so join the hop and "See Beautiful"!

Christmas Ornament #13

The Twelve Days Until Christmas countdown ornament was another good motivator for our kids when they were growing up.  Everyday from December 13th until Christmas one of them would flip the number up.  Hubby does it now.

Wordless Wednesday - Keeping Her Eye On Mr. Snowman

That one's for you Frankie! hehehehe

Christmas Ornament #12

Rudolph!  His nose actually does glow but he needs a battery.  This was a gift from our first grandson the year he was born.  You can see it's beside the ornament his Dad made me in kindergarten.  Awwwwww!
