Monday Mischief - The Other Wild Child

There was nothing out of the ordinary this weekend.  It was the usual stuff with Fred.

He steals some laundry..........

Then he lays on it waiting to see if you'll try to take it.  I just ignore him, walk away and eventually, he falls asleep on it.  Then I get it and it goes back in the laundry. But yesterday all hell broke loose!  Freddie was just laying under the coffee table on his our laundry, minding his own mischief when Gloria suddenly got all giddy, ran over and snatched it from him.

What the eff???

She just went wild. I think she's making up for not getting out when she was younger. LOL!  Heck the other day she actually grabbed a ball outside and ran with it.  Mind you she finally stopped and just dropped it like she didn't know what to do with it, but it was totally out of character! Crazy, I tell ya!

  8. Oh Fred, you have to laugh don't you. Stealing laundry?? Oh my goodness. You and I both know we are only picking up after our lazy peeps who do not put their laundry where it should be right? I am forever having to pick up socks that are left laying around the house! Good job Fred and glad to see Gloria is helping out too. See ya mates. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  11. Well mate you gotta give the laundry and good sniff and shake about with your schnozzle else how would we be able to tell if it is properly clean or not? There is always so much laundry so it needs to be all 'paws to the deck ey!' - honestly, we carry on regardless despite the fact it is a thankless task, that is gratitude for yer, just as you have finished one lot another needs sorting! (so Mummy2Legs is always saying!) - you keep up the good work there! Barnie x

  21. A good dog just can't leave unattended laundry alone - clearly Gloria saw her opportunity when Freddie was sleeping while on 'duty' *waggy tail*

  25. I really wish I was at home all day. I have always wanted a Bassett Hound ever since I was little. One day hopefully. My Ragdoll cat loves to take the clean washing (usually wet) and run aroudn the house with it. His favourite is underwear at the moment!

  29. Gloria sounds a lot like my pug Wrigley, who was a puppy mill dog. For the first 3 year we had her all she did was sleep. If we threw a toy at her hoping to play she would run away terrified. We got the boxers and occasionally a spark goes off in her head and all hell breaks loose here too. She'll steal their toys, though once she gets them, she has no clue what to do with them lol.

  31. I think we are a bit similar as the second B in GBGV is for Basset. I love stealing laundry too! I like to parade around with my loot and try to get mom all riled up but it does not seem to work very well, nevertheless, I love it! Great blog! Emma :)

  33. How cute! It reminds me of my Stetson who normally likes to just lounge on the couch or bed all day, but every once in a he has a spark of energy and runs wild with one of Linus' plush doggy toys.

    Happy Monday!
