Another Prize!

As you can see by the next couple of pictures......

The hound slug fest continued well into Monday morning.

Until the mail came and it was for them.  That got them off their lazy basset butts!

We got an e-mail from Carrie over at All Things Dog Blog last week saying we won an "Unbreakoball".  I was so excited as I thought this would be perfect for Fred.  Maybe, just maybe we would have a ball that he couldn't destroy!

Fred liked it right away and took it to show Gloria.

"Okay, that's enough Gloria! You saw it now back off!"
Then he took it outside and ran around the yard with it.

He even brought it back to me when I threw it! I felt so proud of him and I thought "this must be how Storm, Thunder and Freighters Momma must feel over at 2 Brown Dawgs or Hawks Momma over at Brown Dog CBR."  Then Fred just growled at me as he ran past with the ball! Oh well, maybe one day.

Then he brought it back in the house with him.......

.....and guarded it with his life fell asleep with it.

So the "Unbreakoball" has survived day one with Fred! Thanks again to Carrie over at All Things Dog Blog.  So far so good!

  6. What a cool ball. Lucky Fred, (and Gloria)! I smiled at Fred's retrieving, but you only need to include Thunder, Storm and Hawk in the group of dawgs that bring the ball back. Freighter must have taken lessons from Fred...lol...he runs right past us these days!

  7. LOL-Fest. I can totally relate. Peanuts used to love balls. But I believe she's outgrown those "petty" mental stimulation medium. ^_^

I love the ball. It has bitey holes for teeth to sink in.

  14. Fred, could you send a little luck my way? That is an awesome ball! Mine are addicted to tennis balls, but they take them out on the deck and they fall over the side through the slats and don't get them back until someone goes to retrieve them. This looks like a ball that wouldn't fall through!

  15. YAY!! That looks like a great ball! If Fred didnt' destroy it it seems it might stand up to Dakota's mighty jaws too! lol.

It looks like with the tiny holes around it that you could maybe put treats in it as well?
