Quiet Week

It's been a quiet week with the hounds.  They seem very lazy the past couple of days.  I don't know if it's because we've had such warm temperatures that came on so fast or what.  But Fred hasn't even been doing his daily ritual zoomies.  He just seems too tired.  I tried to get him and Gloria to run around yesterday afternoon when the sun came out after it rained all morning.

Fred took one run at me with the camera and then just laid down.  Gloria just watched from afar. Then he just wanted back in the house to lay around.

"What?"  "I'm tired!"

"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz......."

When he was up, he'd just lay with his head on the window ledge looking outside.

Just watching his neighborhood.

Poor little guy couldn't even hold his own head up.
Yep, until he saw a Mr. Squirrel.

Then all h#ll broke loose!

  12. Yep,that weather is just making my pups all kinds of lazy too. They usually pull the entire walk, but just kind of lollygagged yesterday, then came home and plopped in front of the fan lol. The pic of Fred on his back is funny!

  13. Aww that's such a cute video! I love how Fred and Gloria are with each other. I think Fred caught Daisyitis - that's how Daisy acts in the hot weather too. If we can get her outside, she takes a quick wander around and then comes back in and lies around as if she's run a marathon. :)

  23. Oh how Meowm loves watchingyour basset white tipped tails whipping back and forth!

She says her basset used to sleep in a similar postition of Freds, on their couch. All stretched out on her back with her upper body and neck resting on the arm. She didn't have squirrels to get excited about, but she loved chasing kitties out of the yard! :0

  30. I've been kinda clingy this week. But I did have a great time at daycare. I'm sad that I had no snow, but Jen says she's ready for warmer temps so we can play outside together longer.
